Lurking behind Studio 13 is me, Chris Schmidt, a bike-racing, cross-country-skiing translator and graphic designer lucky enough to have called Michigan's Keweenaw peninsula home for twenty of the past thirty years. I've been creating race posters, t-shirts and various forms of clandestine cycling propaganda, shooting photos and organizing underground races since high school and - in recent years - posters highlighting the beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
